St. Vrain Energy Plant Tour

Join us on a tour of the St. Vrain Energy Plant in
Platteville, Colorado.

The power plant was a nuclear facility that ceased producing in 1989. It has been decommissioned and repowered as a natural gas facility. We will learn about this conversion process, see the reactor core, tour the control room and more!

Space is limited to the first 50 registrations. Please RSVP by Wednesday, August 1st.

Schedule:
7:45am: Registration & Light Breakfast at Newfield
8:30am: Board the bus and head to Platteville
10:00am: Tour the facility
11:30am: Head back to Denver (snacks provided)
12:30pm: Lunch at Rock Bottom Brewery
